Wings & Images’ collection of image features unique prints that are a blend of creative vision and state of the art technology.The images in this collection have been selected by Dominique and represent some of her finest work. Each master print and framing are created under her and her husband supervision.
Currently, the images that are presented to you utilize several printing processes. Ilfochrome, Regular C-41, Iris Print and Archival Digital Laser Prints. Each method provides a specific finish and look and it is for this reason that Dominique selects some photographs to be printed with a specific method. Each printing process has its advantages.
The Ilfochrome are color prints made by a silver dye bleach process. The colors are more brilliant than those of the average color print and have more resistance to fading. The surface is smooth and glossy. These prints are highly sensitive to finger printing.
The Ilfochrome process is very expensive and requires special handling for framing. We highly recommend that you have your Ilfochrome prints framed in our organization. All Wings & Images limited edition prints are custom framed under Dwight and Dominique's guidance. They choose the frame design in function of the artwork presented, its focal point and its preservation. They know that limited edition prints are often purchased as long term investment so the framing must serve two purposes: enhance the art and preserve its value for the future. They work exclusively with True Vue conservation clear glass offering UV protection as well as museum and conservation mat boards. While custom framing costs more than off-the-shelf products, their efforts are directed towards value, design and preservation of the artwork. Wings and Images will be happy to create different custom framing should you request it.
Type C prints have a more even range of colors resulting in more subtle and delicate images.
Some images have been selected to be printed by laser printing. Dominique will use this process when she considers that edge to edge sharpness becomes critical in the message she intends to convey.
Finally, she also likes to print some of her images on watercolor paper. These photographs will offer softer edges and muted tones.
All the prints offered in Wings & Images Limited Edition Collection are numbered and signed by the artist. They will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
You can click on an image to view a larger thumbnail and the story behind the photograph and the print size available. The sizes listed refer to the actual image size. Matting and framing will add to the outside dimension.

All the images displayed in the art collection are of a certain limited number. After the numbers of an edition are sold, this image will not be printed as a photograph anymore. Each print will remain an authentic and original artwork.
